This dual-language catalog contains abstracts of 188 documents prepared for the 1977 International Conference on Education. The documents describe educational policies toward development, major trends in education, and the problem of information at the national and international levels posed by the improvement of educational systems. Abstracts are presented in English or French, depending on the language of the original. Spanish originals are treated in French and other languages in English or French according to the Unesco medium of communication with the particular country. Each entry is listed alphabetically by country and provides the title; author's name; country and/or authority from which the document originated; place of publication, date of issue, and number of pages; and language in which the document is printed. The abstract itself contains indexing terms for computer storage and retrieval. Separate indexes in English and French list abstracts alphabetically by subject. (Author/KC)
